Perfect for toms and sidesnares
I buy this drumhead for more than 2 years now and I´m quite satisfied with the quality and the sound.
If you like your tomsound more open, but not with so much sustain you should pic this drumhead right here.
On sidesnares the sound is more open with more sustain as on toms.
Another good reason why the evans G2, is that the qualtiy and resistance are such great!
The look after half a year of playing of this drumhead is incredible! There are almost no abrasions to see.
The perfect sound results, when you put a Evans G1 as a resonance head on your tom.

Super easy to tune, long life as well
Love the Evans G2 range. There's loads of tuning width from super dead wrinkly tension to cranked right the way up. Was using Remo Ambsadors for my 10, but switched to this and prefer it! (Although that's a matter of taste). It sounds great on my 10"x8" Mapex Tom.
A guy in a local music shop (in the uk) once told me Remo heads are much better made than Evans. I disagree, I think they're well matched, however, I don't know why, I perfer Evans heads.
The two ply film heads should give you plenty of life even for heavy hitters.
Overall, this skin gives great tone and great consistency to my 10" Tom.

Gutes (Resonanz) Fell!
Benutze es als Resofell auf meiner kleinen Rack-Tom und es klingt unerwarteterweise sehr resonant und warm.
Verarbeitung ist auch sehr gut.

Sounds cool
It's classy, not super expensive, working a lot. Happy with the sound - it's possible to play any genres.

Nice head
Sonically its a bit thuddy but i suppose thats what you get with 2 plys and coating. It is really fat sounding though just possibly not the best all rounder

My personal choice number one. Good tone on every tuning i have used and fits perfectly for the rock and heavy music i am playing. Haven´t broken a single one of these heads,thought i hit the drums pretty hard. I will continue using these heads as i am satisfied with the sound and quality and price they provide. I can recommend these to every other drummer no matter what your genre is.

I Like Them
Just like the look, feel and tune very easily. Matched with Evans 10" EC Resonant Control Tom. Might try frosted heads next for my toms, however I would see myself using these again.

Great sounding, durable head
This head is great for lots of genres, but tends to have warmer and deeper characteristics than (perhaps) a clear head or single- ply head. I use this head (along with other G2 coated heads for my toms) primarily in playing funk, pop and sometimes jazz and less heavy rock. An all round great sounding, durable and high quality head for multiple genres :)
