K&M Music Stand Light
Pleased with the lamp, which is a good quality item and far better than the LED light which it has replaced. Effective illumination of double page score. Clamps firmly to stand but cable is far too short and if purchased for UK, the first thing you'll need to do is amputate the 2 pin plug and rewire..
The cable is dissappointing. It is stated as being 2m but this must include every last mm in the lamp housing because mine is more like 1.7 m from the base of the unit where it clamps to the stand. You'll lose 1m running down the stand. Mains oulets are often 40cm from the floor so you'll need to position your music stand immediately adjacent to socket or use an extension lead.

Disappointed
I purchased this a while ago but I have to say I'm quite disappointed with it. I purchased with the 'warm' light but although it lights up the top of the music sheets, it does not light up the whole sheet on the sides, nor down to the bottom of the sheet, even if you manipulate it - it has limited
ovement. Also, there is a metal piece under the lamp that juts out a little over the music, so when you turn any music pages, the top catches on the metal, hence you have to keep 'freeing' them.
I knew it only worked via a socket, but have found this to be quite restricting as the lead isn't very long, as mentioned by previous customers. And yes, the lamp does get extremely hot. Perhaps the 'white' lamp would work better but I wouln't really recommend this lamp.

It does the Job.
Good price for somethig that simply works. The included bulb is not LED But once that one burns, you have the option to get a led bulb instead. You can position it any way you want through the very flexible arm. Not built like a tank but no one is going to sit on it, are they? :)

A classic!
I really enjoy reading my sheet music with this lamp. Other lamps have a cold, blue-ish LED light but this has a very warm natural light which makes it very comfortable to read. Make sure you have a replacement bulb just in case. These are regular bulbs and not sturdy LEDs. They can break quite easily!

I use this on the notestand of my stage piano, nice warm light, better than the LED lamps.

Nice but use with caution.... Compared to LEDs they give a nicer light but get hot. They're also prone to spilling light out front (into the audience eyes which isn't good) unless properly set. Well made of course.

Good value standlight
These are well made but make sure that the lamp has cooled down before moving them as the filament is quite fragile.

Great light - shame about the plug
This is a great light and clips neatly onto a stand. Quality K&M workings. Problem was that came with a 2pin plug and no adaptor for UK.
