Great build quality, snare produces a bright response when tuned slightly higher than the tension it comes supplied at. Comes complete with good quality Remo heads on batter and resonant side. I Used snare for for the first time at a gig last weekend, a small venue and snare was loud enough not to have mic up, so did the business?
I would most definately recommended, a great snare and well worth the price!

Amazing snare!

This is the only snare I have, so I use it for basically everything I play: jazz, pop, punk, hard rock, heavy metal, classical and I must say that it particularly shines in the rock genre as much as in other genres. It has a powerful, rich sound with a pleasant low end.
Pros: -Fantastic sound for the price
-Internal dampening system = no moongel or dampening ring needed
-very versatile
-not to heavy

Cons: -the only thing I would point out is that some of the small parts on the snare are made out of materials that are probably relatively cheap, that is why they tend to rust pretty quickly. At least mine did. But I'm just being picky here :)

Overall this is the best snare that I have ever played (to date). I bought 4 years ago and it is still amazing. It's versatility amazes me over and over again.

P.S.: The best drum head that works for me on this one is Evans Genera HD ;)

une palette de sons riches et vairés avec des réglage du son au millimètre; notament grace a sa sourdine interne et ses écrous pour éviter de resserrer sa peau toutes les 5 minutes. Pour un prix plus que raisonnable.

Compre esta caja por que soy fan de Ian Paice especialmente de su estilo y su sonido, que tengo grabado en mi mente y les puedo decir que para el tipo de musica que yo toco es formidable.
Un sonido clasico y muy potente, es muy sensible y su profundidad y materiales le proporcionan mucha fuerza.
Tiene incorporado un atenuador de armonicos que segun el sitio donde toques es importantisimo, y unas contra tuercas que mantinen la afinacion mucho mas tiempo.
Estoy encantado con ella y la recomiendo especialmente para Rock,.
Al ser metalica eso si hay que cuidarla mucho de la corrosion es la unica pega.
Una muy buena compra y bien afinada un gran sonido.
