Git yer shoes and socks of people!

Prachtige '70s koffer die bij het eerste hanteren erg licht lijkt maar toch meer dan afdoende beschermt. Nergens wobbelig of rammelende gammeltjes edoch een stijve, stootstevige buitenkant nog los van de looks. Binnenkant neemt je na openen van de koffer instant mee naar de controleroom in The Last Waltz en de voering is echt prima uitgevoerd want deze vormt zich mooi strak om je LP, ook bij wat verschillende merken en modeluitvoeringen.
Bergruimte is wat ruimer dan optisch in eerste instantie lijkt en ik ben vooral erg blij met de klittenband-lus om je hals goed tegen de koffer-binnenkant te kunnen bevestigen tijdens vervoer.

Wordt nu een paar maanden redelijk intensief gebruikt en ook het handvat bevalt prima namelijk de vanwegenheid dat 'ie wat dikker is dan bij veel andere merken en dat is erg prettig als je LP wat zwaarder is omdat het wat langer dragen dan niet zo in je vingers priemt.

Kortom, zoals mijn oud-leraar Nederlands altijd zei: dikke sh!zzle!

Great case, at a great price

For those left-handed parias like myself who wondered, yes this case fits a LH axe.

The photo's don't do the case justice, it looks far nicer even with the material being faux leather.

Pros
- Fit all my left-handed SC guitars
- Very affordable hardcase
- Ample room for regular sized strap and some small items, strings, tuner, etc.
- The interior finish looks and feels nice
- Extra support and security for the neck by means of a strap
- It didn't have an unpleasant glue/plastic odor, unlike some cases.
- It looks different alright!

Cons
- The locking mechanism feels cheap/like it may give up anytime soon (That said, I don't think most people would buy a case for that kind of security unless you actually need to travel instead of just transporting it)
- The exterior stitching was sloppy where the end meets the beginning of the stitch-work.
- The way the handle has been stitched it may cut (nothing sharp) into your hand when carrying, especially when you have a somewhat heavier guitar to transport
- It looks different alright!

P.s. My particular case had a minor issue with the latch that had the lock on it, which luckily resolved itself after some gentle poking and prodding with a screwdriver inside the locking mechanism. I did notify Thomann of the issue prior to my tinkering and they were very helpful in trying to resolve the issue otherwise, but seeing I managed to resolve it it became a moot issue.

Almost perfectly for Gibson LP

The guitar case fit almost perfectly on the Gibson LP Standard guitar. The guitar does not slide in the case , in fact the case is even a little tight.
The material quality is good, the inside could be a bit softer, but it's still good. And the pattern? Cool!

I ordered this case purely on its looks initially as it certainly seemed like it would stand out in the crowd and it does not disappoint on that front! That said, it is also a sturdy well made case and will show off any Les Paul shaped guitar to advantage It is really fun, a bit "blingy" and the red interior should contrast well with most colours of electric guitar! It is certain that no-one will pick up the wrong guitar case by accident if you are using this which could be a really useful feature! That said, it is very fit for its basic purpose too and really well finished and the snake skin pattern is nicely contrasted by the darker edge strips on the case! I love this case and just hope that this type of snake skin finish can be produced as a rectangular guitar case and also for acoustic guitars too in the future! What I would like to suggest to the good people at Thomann is this, what about trying this finish on other types of guitar case and what about using the snake finish on a pedal case too? The possibilities are endless and it would be so cool to have all one's guitars and accessories in matching cases!! I absolutely love this case and would strongly recommend it to everyone!! After all, what could be more rock'n'roll than carrying your guitar in such a smart and unique case!! I am sure I will be back to buy another one just like it soon!
