Excellent chair, stable and great lower back support

I've lower back problems in general but my previous throne was adding to them. After reading a few online reviews on the Ahead Spinal I went for it and I was not disappointed.
Pros: It very stable, plenty of easy adjustment, comfortable and excellent lower back support.
Cons: expensive
It is expensive but if you've got back issues I think its well worth it

Auch für nicht-Drummer genial...

Ich habe mir den 'Thron' für mein Studio gekauft. Als Vater habe ich natürlich das kleineste Zimmer im ganzen Haus, weil im rest Spielzeug steht. Der alte, riesige Stuhl ist sofort rausgeflogen, ich habe jetzt viel mehr Platz, und nach ca 20 Sekunden fand ich den Ahead schon mega genial. Sehr kleiner 'Footprint' im vergleich zu normalen Studio- oder Bürostühlen.

Die Qualität ist super, das Ding ist sauschwer (schwer ist gut), beim Drehen in die gewünschte Höhe hört man keinen Pieps, und das wichtigste.. unheimlich bequem. Ich habe gelesen das eigentlich die härteren Jungs mit double bass eine Lehne brauchen, aber ich sitz hier jetzt seit 3 Wochen den ganzen Tag drauf. Ohne Lehne ging das gar nicht.

Also.. Der Stuhl ist auch perfekt für Leute die einen 'Studiobürostuhl' suchen der keine Lehnen hat. Die hab ich eh immer abgeschraubt als Gitarrist.

Auch ist der Stuhl nicht so laut wenn man sich mit seinem Allerwertesten darauf bewegt. Sowas ist sehr wichtig wenn man mit einem Kondensatormikrofon aufnehmen möchte, das wirklich alles hört.

Eins gefällt mir nicht so gut.. Die Lehne sieht von hinten ziemlich billig aus. Diese Metallnieten über der komischen schwarzen Plastikfolie. Wenn das nach Rock'n'Roll aussehen soll weis ich auch nicht...

Aber ich mach mir da einfach ein schönes Stück Stoff um die Lehne, und dann bin ich total happy!

Je mesure 1,83 m ..et croyez moi , pour éviter le mal de dos c'est beaucoup mieux de jouer de la batterie avec un dossier .Dommage , celui ci n'est pas réglable en hauteur .. mais il va bien pour quelqu'un de grand .
