This is a really great pedal. But it is even better you connect to a compressor pedal then go into the guitar input. This way you can sustain the notes and have an even volume. The best compressor pedal I use is the EHX Soul Preacher pedal with vol and attack at 12. I did try others out but this was the best one to compliment the Boss VO 1. You need to pick clean and you need to emphasise the words you speak so that the V01 can pick up all the nuances of what you are saying. It is a really great pedal and a lot of fun to use.

Can´t get it to work

Tried every option, various micophones, instruments and still doesn´t work. I´m told after a factory check that the unit is ok. So must be at my end. But simply put.....not very ´plug and play´.

A un prix défiant toute concurrence une super Talk Box très pratique. Pas de tuyau, juste un micro à brancher. En prime, 2 Vocoders (vintage ou advanced) aux sonorités plus qu'honnêtes et un émulateur de nappes (choir) plutôt bluffant. Il faut tripoter les boutons (comme sur toutes les pédales de la marque) et trouver les siennes (les marques). La balance son direct/effet est douce, progressive et efficace : on peut réellement avoir uniquement le son direct, ou uniquement l'effet. De plus, une boucle d'insertion (send/return) me laisse prévoir de futures expériences sonores inédites. Quatre étoiles seulement pour l'utilisation à cause du bouton de sensibilité pour l'entrée micro (high ou low) : je ne sais pas s'il est très efficace sur scène quand le parasitage d'ambiance peut être important. Bien choisir son micro ! Avec un Shure PG48 et une bonnette c'est super, alors...
Ah oui, la pile 9v fournie m'a paru rendre l'âme trop rapidement... ou c'est moi qui n'ai pas vu le temps passer : peut-être prévoir une alim secteur. De quoi faire son "Daft punk" tout(e) seul(e) dans la chambre et pour pas cher. Supercontent.
