Great features but lacklustre build quality.
The features on the pro power (version 2) pursuaded me to buy it over the similar but slightly lower output voodoo labs pedal power 2 as I have several current hungry digital pedals on my board. The extra current output per channel (including the 2 high output channels with 350ma per each) put it ahead for my pedal setup versus the voodoo labs. The first one arrived from Thomann with a grounding problem on the 8th output, Thomann processed a return (frustratingly and indfexibly insisting on all cables and connections also being returned, meaning a complete pedalboard disasemble and power cable removal was needed) and after a couple of weeks I received a replacement unit tonight which works fine but has a loose power connector which pops out of the unit when you remove the AC cable, meaning care is needed. Frustrating but not enough to deal with the trouble of a second return so I'll live with it, but am very disappointed in the brand. This is my first Carl Martin product and is likely to be my last...
Overall, the features are very good. Fully isolated and regulated DC including independent 9/12v switching per channel and 120/250v AC input switching, but I simply don't trust Carl Martin build quality anymore. I had reservations after hearing/reading similar problems elsewhere, but after my (frustrating) experience here with both the brand and the inflexible Thomann returns process, I would be very careful with CM stuff in future.
Tone and clarity is great from this, no question, and all the fidelity and high end is preserved in the guitars signal. If you absolutely need the high output (6x150ma and 2x350ma at 9v) then take the risk on the pro power version 2 but if you don't need the extra juice go for the voodoo labs PP2.

Great power supply, STUPID design for Pedaltrain users
I have almost zero complaints about this power supply, but I'm sending it back. Very strong chemical smell when it arrives, but otherwise it works fine...
My problem is that it's a TINY bit too big to fit under a Pedaltrain board, except for one way that doesn't make any sense: upside down, with the cables pointing away from the pedalboard and the power running underneath it. In other words, exactly the opposite of how you would want it. I can't cram it in and make it fit any other way. It even has little holes pre-drilled and comes with screws for using the Pedaltrain brackets, but it doesn't fit. Major design flaw, in my opinion.
If you're not planning to mount this under a Pedaltrain board, my experience was that it's a great power supply.

Great construction, a little on the heavy side.
After using for some time, no hisses, no high pitch noise, providing what it promises and what you demand. I safely inserted it inside a pb600 pedal board with onboard power supply, and managed to fit it perfectly, despite having to buy an angled power cable for better cable managment, but that cost me no more than 3 euros.
I can safely say it was money well spent and i'm quite happy with this product.

Unintersting but very capable!
Solid, reliable PSU. Have gigged it more times than I can remember - no problems. Good price, relatively compact. What more can you ask?

Amazing product
This is packed with everything I needed, for mainstream pedals, and for other pedal I have which has a different input.
Amazing product, it makes no noise, and it never let me down. I gig and rehearse with it regularly, it seems it will last long.
Carl Martin has very good products, I also have a plexitone and it's great

Great value for money features
8 isolated outputs (each one with the option of 9V or 12V) at this price level makes it one of the most value for money power suppliers in my opinion. Unlike other users, I managed to fit it below my Pedaltrain Classic 1 SC without issues. It is also noise free.
I suggest it for anyone who wants 8 "classic" (meaning that it cannot handle strymons, eventides etc...) outputs and not spend a fortune.

I think it's the best power for this price range!
I have the first version of this power supply for more than 3 years I think, which is a little bit less powerful than the V2, however, still works great and supplies my 10 pedals on the board with no noise.
Now I've bought this one for my bandmate, seems to do the job as it's supposed to, no noise. The cables ?smell like teen spirit? when you open the box but... you don't have to eat with them so, it's not a big deal.
It is worth buying!

Perfect
It solved all my issues regarding faulty power supplies or running out of battery.
