For me, these are the standard that everything else gets compared to. Even my new favourite Superbrights Marcus Miller got compared to XLs in their review.
For stainless steel roundwound strings, these are very flexible and easy on the fingers - don't chew on your fingertips like Rotosounds. Wide frequency range, deep bottom, chimy sparkly highs, midrange slightly shy, but not by much. I use(d) them for everything happily.
Some sets die off rather quickly and suddenly, but then they keep the thuddier remaining tone nice and articulate for a long time.

Voici les caractéristiques des ces cordes:

Nous sommes donc en présence de cordes tirant "custom-light". En effet, voici la taille de chaque corde: E=100/A=80/D=60/G=40, Long scale.
Les cordes sont fabriquées en acier, ce qui leur donne donc un son très brillant.
J'ai monté ces cordes sur une basse active et j'en suis très satisfait. C'est exactement le son que je cherchais.
Le tirant étant faible, les cordes exercent donc moins de tension sur le manche et sont plus "molles" au touché. C'est parfait pour le slap et, selon moi, très agréable.
Grâce à ses cordes, le son a beaucoup de puissance et de dynamique.

Les points fort:
-Un son très brillant
-Le son brillant reste quand même après plusieurs mois d'utilisation
-La tension plus faible (pratique pour le slap sur les basses qui possèdent 24 frettes)

Je suis satisfait de ces cordes et les conseille à toutes les personnes qui cherchent un sont puissant et brillant.

Ich benutze diese Seiten nun schon etliche Jahre und bin nach wie vor , mit ihrem Sound, der Bespielbarkeit und nicht zuletzt der Verarbeitung ink. Haltbarkeit super zufrieden.

Ich slappe sehr viel, mag Drahtsounds , klare Obertöne , aber eben auch Soundwärme und eine Seite die wandelbar ist. Je nach dem wie man sie beackert bekommt man all das von ihnen . Was mir sehr positiv aufgefallen ist und was nicht selbstverständlich ist .. Ist die frische mit der alle Seiten, in allen vier Stärken auf der Packung kommen. Da habe ich es bei anderen Herstellern schon erlebt, das zwei von vier Seiten gar schon lasch oder alt klangen . Hier noch nicht ein einziges mal. Alle vier Seiten halten gleichermaßen ihre Frische und Lebendigkeit.
Dann ich die Seiten auch mechanisch stark beanspruche , ziehen oder eben slappen muss ich noch anmerken das auch hier diese Seiten wirklich lange stabil die Stimmung halten und sehr gut all das mitmachen !

Top ... ich werde sie weiterhin , als meine Seite überhaupt benutzen !
