Covered with felt and fleece on a short 1.9 cm hickory shaft (29.2 cm length)
Produces a full, lush sound
Much softer than the small and medium mallets and produces much lower frequencies
It is surprisingly resilient off the gong and results in a slow, rich blossom.

Sweet warm mallet

It's bouncy, head the size of a tennis ball and weighs about 220g all in. Works well on all gong sizes. Probably better for more intimate gong play than filling a big space. I really like it.

Love this mallet

With very little effort, the most amazing tones can be gained from this mallet. I have a 32" chau, 36" TOL Water and a 24"wind. Works well with them all but so amazing my water gong
