Fender Classic Celluloid Pick - heavy gauge
The "351 premium plectrum" from Fender is an absolute classic, an iconic plectrum is classy looking in 'tortoise shell' effect celluloid and they are available in thin , medium and heavy thickness and in various colours.
They are smooth, void of the ridges and dimples that other picks feature yet they are never slippy.
I find them the perfect size for all my electric playing, big enough for chords and still small enough for articulate picking or fast lead runs however I do find they are a little bit on the small side for acoustic strumming where I usually favour a larger thinner plectrum.
I have been using these plectrums for many years and can not see why I wold ever change, they are my absolute favourite plectrum.
Celluloid plectrums give you a more traditional feel than the more modern materials like acetal or nylon.
They have a smooth striking surface and produce a warm, more rounded musical tone.
I play mostly blues and classic rock and find they are perfect for that style of playing however they wouldn't be my first choice for more aggressive metal type music were a more modern plectrum would be more appropriate.
My playing style is quite smooth and I I find they are very long lasting, I never seem to wear them out and they are not prone to splitting like other celluloid plectrums.

I only buy the fender classic picks
I prefere to buy a big bounch of pick rather small quantities. The feel on the fingers is good, the sound is good.

Good picks in general
I play quite hard so after a few playing sessions the pick will be done but other than that I can't say anything bad about the fender heavy.

Pros:
Very durable picks, I use them a lot, but they seem to not wear out. 0.96 thickness, very comfortable.
Con:
They have a factory smell, I think it's because of the material they use. They smell when they're together, wouldn't bother when playing.

ok
they are kind of weird in the hand have very little grip and feel kind of cheap but last quite a while id definitely recommend tortex over these

Classic Fender sound and design...
Good picks. The durability is not at high levels but they have the classic sound!

Best pickup
I have been using these pickups for years. Playing mainly rock with my LPs and Tele's. Couldn't change this for anything else. Does the job.

Classic picks
Nice amount of stiffness and attack, but not completely stiff like ultex jazz picks. They wear fast, so it's good to buy them in bigger packs. Grip is alright, but they've slipped from my fingers a couple of times. I've used these with both electric and acoustic guitars. Works great with both.
