Well made indeed. Solid, strong. Good hardware. The photos make it look like the best of Conn, which is why I bought it. BUT.
Inside, my Gator case has at least an inch of space in every direction, largely with no padding. The horn bangs about wildly. No exaggeration. I am one for shortcuts, but this is too much of a bad thing. The case is also clearly too wide for carrying, if you like avoiding muscle cramps and contusions. Cases are for carrying.
The other reviews I read are raves. If authentic, then the makers of my case ripped off Thomann. I was a professional french horn player for 45 years and as a hobby professionally trained and experienced in all types of brass repair.

Ein tolles Case zum fairen Preis!

Ich habe dieses Case für das Doppelhorn meiner Frau gekauft.

Anfangs war ich skeptisch, ob für diesen günstigen Kurs ein gutes Case gebaut und geliefert werden kann! Trotz meiner Vorbehalte muss ich sagen, dass ich sehr positiv überrascht wurde. Das Case ist stabil und mit den drei guten Schließen ist das Horn gut vor unfreiwilligen Stürzen geschützt. Der Griff liegt gut in der Hand und ist ausgewogen angebracht. Auch die stabilen Füße tragen zur Stabilität bei.
Im Inneren liegt das Horn geschützt unter einer Massiven und verstärkten Kunststoffhülle und weich, samtartig gepolstert. Das teure Instrument hat so einen würdigen Platz gefunden. Von alles Softcases halte ich persönlich gar nichts, da man nie weiß welcher verstörte Bussfahrer oder Roadie den Koffer mal in die Finger bekommt!!!

Ich kann das Case nur empfehlen und würde es mir wieder kaufen!

für einen Horn- Koffer dieser Preisklasse gibt es nichts besseres. Stabil, innen mit Samt ausgekleidet, ein Einschub für das Mundstück, und ein Lappen hat auch noch Platz. Das Horn ist selbst bei herberem Umgang sehr gut geschützt.
