Interesting indeed

Great response, intonation, flexibilty in volume and timbre, pleasant mouth feel, easy subtone and altissimo, very durable, easy to see for placement on the mouthpiece and being slightly rough stays in place on the table. All of this is really good and, so far as a package, beats any other synthetic reed that I've tried.

But the sound is not for me - it's big and full - but bright to the point of being buzzy and kazoo like - and this is supposed to be the darkest FIbereed ! I'm sure many people will like this sound and I can see its attraction. As a consolation I find the this tenor reed sounds and plays very, very well on alto

Agréable pour moduler le son

Je l'utilise depuis plus d'un an en alternance avec 2 autres synthétiques, avec un bec très ouvert 8*. Son très correct, à peine un peu moins bien qu'un bon roseau, mais tellement plus stable dans le temps... surtout pour une anche très souple. Il m'a fallu quelques petites séances pour m'y habituer, mais c'est maintenant ma préférée dans la plupart des circonstances ! Ne glisse pas sur la table du bec. Contact agréable pour une synthétique.

Der "erdige Sound", welcher in der Beschreibung steht ist das Ziel, was ich mit meinem Saxophon-Setup erreichen möchte, daher habe ich mich für dieses Blatt entschieden.

Die Verarbeitung ist sehr gut, entsprechend der anderen Produkte des Herstellers.
Interessanterweise würde man meinen, dass der spieltechnische Unterschied zu einem "normalen" Fiberreed nicht sonderlich hoch wäre, doch kann ich das nicht bestätigen.

Ich finde die Ansprache dieses Modells etwas komplizierter und neige etwas mehr zum Quietschen als mit Blättern vergleichbarer Stärke (Fiber und Holz).
Der Klang an sich ist gut, wenn auch der Unterschied nicht so groß ist, wie ich es vermutet hätte.

Wer auf der Suche nach einem dunkleren Sound ist kann duchaus mal einen Versuch wagen.
