Work fine, but why the slotted head screws?
Bought these for my K&M rack. A little odd that the are a different size than the ones that came with the rack, but that's ok. My question is why these have slotted heads and not Phillips. Installation, which sometimes requires a third hand, would be much easier if I could use my cordless driver.

Excellent Quality Items
Buying rack nuts shouldn't be a hassle. They are a staightforward item, & it should be a no-brainer. Not so! I've had issues with other packs (I don't want to mention any names), but no such problems with these. They deliver exactly what you would expect, with the minimum of fuss. Nut cages locate into racks with ease, and do not fall out easily, screws are good quality (decent threads are important!). The only negitave I'd say is that I would have expected some washers (nylon especially), to avoid rack rash on all our lovely outbaord gear. Other than that, highly recommended, and will be re-ordering!

Didn't see it comming...Disapointed, very!!!
Why on earth someone would prefer to buy slotted heads and not Phillips. Maybe for one or two machines at at time but not for someone planning a larger issue. Everything must be hand made then. I bought 7 packadges and i am giving this nonsence back. What a waiste of time... I wasn't expecting such a thing from K&M.

Rack Nuts/Bolts
These are fine but not the same size as other rack nuts and bolts that I have in my stock, so not interchangeable.

You get what you pay for.
Plenty of pieces to rack a lot of gear. With K&M, you know they're going to be quality parts. The threads wont break when you do them up tight, and the heads don't round off after a few turns either. It's worth spending extra on these than less on others.

It's the second time I've bought it.
Pros:
+ I managed to mount my 20 kg amp in a rack using only 4 screws at the front.
Cons:
- Easy to damage a screw thread.
- Easy to damage a paint layer.

Good quality
The set is of good quality for the price, but it should be noted that the screw heads are slotted which makes screwing more difficult than it should really be.

Good screws but specs are of an M4 screw (not M5)
These screws are of good quality, similar to the ones shipped with K&M racks stands, but not identical. The original K&M screws are M5 (5mm diameter) but the ones that I received are M4 (4mm diameter) so slightly thinner. Wish these screws were exactly the same as the ones that come with the K&M rack stands.
