Awesome go-to tipper
This Meinl bodhran tipper is thick, well-crafted and well-balanced - designed for the traditional style of playing. I got it about half a year ago and I've been extremely pleased with it so far.
The beater is gorgeous - dark wood polished smoothly. The grip might not be everybody's cup of tea, but nothing that some good ol' racquet-handle tape can't fix. Due to their size and weight the ends brush well on the bohdran and produce a rich, deep tone.
Overall, an excellent bodhran tipper to add to one's collection for experimentation and experience. Quickly became my go-to beater.

Nice but BIG
Its a nice ended product, on quality wood. Nice to play with if you have big hands. If not, you better get away from it, because it's Big. Really big, you will tired to play soon.
The headball of the beater works fine in the bodhrán, in our case Michael Vignoles pro-series.
For us, works better other bodhrán sticks from artisan, small and used to fit into a normal hand.
