It might work
I initally saw a lot of buzz around the Mooer Trelicopter. It's not hard to figure out why, as it is one of the cheapest tremolos around and comes from a somewhat trusted guitar pedals' brand as is the case of Mooer. I soon caved in and had to get my hands on the product so that I could form an opinion myself, and also was looking to expand the type of fx pedals I had, having no tremolo one. I have to say that while I'm not disapointed, I wish I loved this pedal more. As I said, I used it on my guitar alongside my true bypass pedals. What I realised from day one is that the tone suffers somewhat from having this fx pedal turned on, and while I expected some change in this department, sometimes it leads me to removing it from my pedalboard as it gets to much sometimes. On the other hand, I do like to send a clean signal into it and just using it by itself. To me, the sound is never the greatest, and so I would recommend this pedal only to people who are really curious about the tremolo effect and nothing else

Great Tremolo
I got this and immediately put it on my board. It is a fantastic tremolo. It is inexpensive but don't let that fool you it is a tone machine. Tone is smooth and rich. There isn't much if any apparent volume loss which is very nice. With only three controls it's very easy to get the tremolo effect you want. Depth and rate do exactly what you would expect and the Bias knob changes the wave shape.
Looks and feel wise it is very good, the pedal came well packaged with foam padding to protect the controls and a little Mooer sticker. The controls feel nice and not cheap, when turning each knob there are no sudden jumps which makes getting a tone easy. There is absolutely no chance of accidentally changing the depth or bias settings when engaging the pedal.
If you think you want a tremolo but aren't sure buy the Mooer Trelicopter, it's inexpensive enough that if you don't really like it you won't have burned a hole in your pocket.
I see other people have heard a mild tremolo effect when the pedal is in bypass. I have not had this issue, this may be because I use an isolated power supply.

some issues
This is an entry level modulation FX for guitars and other instruments. I own other mooer effects, but in this case I must admit I was quite disappointed. It has this ticking, quiet sound all the time, even when bypassed. I know it may be a beauty of many tremolo effects, but it's really annoying and I use it very rarely.

price and quality
No external noises or weird things happening. The item is very good, price-quality product. Speed knob is a bit too big, you can easily accidentally tune it wrong way... and those two others a bit too small... but other than that it is a great product for this price..

Don't be afraid of clicking/pulsing sound
Based on discussion boards this pedal makes strange pulsing click sound depending on speed knob. And I confirm this to be true.
This happens only IF you're using the pedal as only box between guitar and your amp. It seems that everyone are having this issue. The pedal is basically unusable that way.
But there is simple solution: place some pedal in front or place the tremolo in effects loop and the click sound disappeared. I was about to return the pedal but once I found out the proper placement for it I really enjoy it's sound!

Big fan of Mooer pedals...
This isn't the first Mooer pedal I have bought and it definitely won't be my last. Their petite design allows for maximum usage of my pedalboard without affecting my tone or sound in anyway. True Bypass is fantastic, so to not affect my tone when not in use. Its sound is lovely and quite versatile too. Extremely simple to use. Solid casing means it can take a battering and still deliver the goods. A very solid pedal for both studio and live performance usage.

A hidden gem
An optical tremolo the size of a packet of chewing gum. This really is a top notch pedal. For the size and price, the features are incredible. Sounds really smooth to me. Being able to control the waveform as well as the depth makes it a winner. I love a square wave tremolo and this one does it really nicely. I'm not really sure what else to say, it's just a very solid pedal whose features betray its price. If this cost twice as much, it would still be worth it.

Nice surprise!
Never had I tried a Mooer pedal but I decided to try one for the pedal I use least frequently on my board, which is the Tremolo. So my Trelicopter arrived, I installed it to the chain and it was as good as anything really! Don't let the size fool you, this pedal produces big changes.
Maybe on a downnote is tpo the fact that because it's so small, two of the buttons had to be dwarfed. It's no problem for me personally but might be for some people, I don't know.
Recommend it!

Awesome tremolo on a budget
I used this pedal in studio in conjunction with an old Vox AC30 and a Les Paul. I can honestly say no bad words about this pedal. It's small, it's cheap, it knows everything a tremolo pedal needs to know. With the Bias and Depth controls you can get any kind of tremolo from smooth and viby to real helicopter.
