Nice bass but overrated

I was in love with the Stingray since I was 16 years old. I have played many basses and guitars but it was not until this year that I purchased a Music Man Stingray (Stingray 4 Special MN BK) - waited 6 months for it...
When I received the bass I was excited to open the box (suprisingly it was intune) and start playing but... 1. the neck was OK but nothing great with the action being way too high 2. the finish in the back of the neck did not help my hand to move as expected (could it be that it is brand new? - I have not felt the same with other brand new basses) 3. the tuning keys felt cheap.
All in all a good bass with excellent sound medium quality craftmanship/materials and highly priced!
Also, please note that although there is a case included in the price, it's not a hard case but rather a soft case (a good one I must admit - "Mono" music man branded)
I strongly suggest you get your hands on one before buying.
