Works well. I have not yet tested the Tapping feature and need to dig deaper. However, the quiet switching is a big plus for me - for example, compared to the MKII - it has 2x midi out and 2 DC outs, which i think differs from the MKII - so check your needs. For me, silent switching was key

Erstmal vorweg, ich nutze das Gerät im Zusammenhang mit einer RC 300 Loopstation auf der ich fertige Patches (zB Drumloops oder Audiofiles) abrufe wärend ich beide Hände zum spielen benötige.
Da man die Patches an der RC 300 nicht mit dem Fuss umschalten kann ist der Gecko MK III die Lösung!
Die RC 300 hat zwar auch 2 Pedalanschlüsse die ich hierfür nutzen könnte aber der große Vorteil bei der Midi Lösung ist die Programmierbarkeit des Gecko MK III.
Ich habe also die Möglichkeit mir 20 Presets am Gecko zu speichern und was noch besser ist, wärend des Spielens das neue Patch schon mit dem Fuss aus zu wählen, es aber erst beim Bestägigen umschalten zu lassen.
Ich habe hier verschiedene Modi. Entweder ganz normal durch die Patches zu schalten (rauf und runter) oder meine 20 Programme abzurufen (mit oder ohne Bestätigungsfunktion). Das ist eine Supersache da man die Patsches in der RC 300 nicht mal eben umsortieren kann (am Gecko MK II) ist das kein Problem...
Ich kann jetzt meine 2 Pedalanschlüsse an der RC 300 für andere Fuktionen nutzen (Effekte, Volumen usw).
Zu erwähnen ist noch das das Gecko MK III auch mit 9V Batterie funktioniert..!
Ein Manko ist die Tatsache das die angezeigte Patchnummer immer um 1 versetzt ist. D.h. Patchnummer 39 auf dem Gecko ist Patchnummer 40 auf der RC 300. Hier hab ich noch keine Lösung gefunden. Ich kann aber damit leben.
Die Verarbeitung und Haptik ist sehr gut und wertig. Das Gerät wirkt sehr stabil und ist weder zu groß noch zu klein.
Ich bin also sehr zufrieden mit dem kleinen Teil und vergebe die volle Punktzahl..!
