I bought the Paiste (2002) 8" Accent Cymbal after I previously purchased the 4", for live purposes, because it's very tricky to aim at a 4".
The price is right compare to other similar products on the market.
As usual with Thomann the products arrived in a timely manner. They both delivered a clean, define sound and both live to their expectations.
The 8" got more wash and sustain, compare to the 4" who's pure "ping".
A nice alternative could be then the.....6", which I will try very soon.

This joins its little 6 inch brother and is likewise a sort of cross between a splash and a bell. One of my favourite sounds, slightly less cutting than the smaller brother, but together they produce some really beautiful accent sounds.

Ich habe mir das Paiste 2002 08" Accent Cymbal gleich im Set bei Thomann geordert! Das heißt das 08", 06" und das 04" Cymbal. Alle drei Becken sind hervoragend auf einander abgestimmt! Man will quasi gar nicht mehr aufhören, sie in das Spielen mit einzubauen! Trotz der geringen Größe sind sie sehr laut - was auch an der extremen Dicke der Becken liegt - nicht zu vergleichen mit einem normalen Splash Becken - daher auch eine Anschaffung fürs Leben! Durch die extreme Dicke ist ein gefühlvolles spielen oder ein ansteigender "wirbel" nur sehr schwer möglich. Sie sind wirklich nur dazu gedacht um Akzente im Spielt zu setzen. Gerade in der Verbindung mit den anderen beiden wirklich eine Bereicherung für jedes Set und jede Musikrichtung - von Jazz über Rock oder Country bis hin zum Metal.
Kann wirklich nur sagen - ich bin begeistert! Viel Becken bzw. Effekt für kleines Geld!!Also ZUSCHLAGEN!

C'est tellement subjectif que je ne sais pas si ça sert à quelque chose de poster un avis sur une cymbale... Mais bon au cas où d'autres voudraient savoir ce que j'en pense:
C'est une bonne cymbale d'accent...

Ceci dit, essayez là avant d'acheter! Je m'en sers personnellement presque de cloche tellement le timbre est proche d'une cloche. Le sustain est un peu long à mon goût.
