I bought this as a replacements for my Sabian SBR.
There's a huge difference between them. Even if this one is classified as a beginner to intermediate cymbal, it's impossible not to appreciate the sound.

It's a lot thicker than a lot more solid than other cymbals I've tried at this price range and you can feel it a lot better while you play.

Would definitely buy something else from this series in the near future.

Great Hi-Hat for the price

I bought these hihats as an upgrade from my old 13inch pst3s and after only a few practices I must say I’m extremely impressed. The quality is incredible and the finish is particularly brilliant, nice and shiny. In terms of sound, it’s very responsive and crisp but still has enough depth to stand out when playing closed half notes for example, there is also a decent amount of weight to them so you don’t feel like you’re going to crack them.

One fact I would give is that they seem to scratch fairly easily (after practicing with metal brushes I noticed a few scratches but nothing out of the ordinary)

i bought this hi hat to replace my stock set on my pearl roadshow. the hi hat has a really good sound and i couldn't be happier. i after the hi hat i plan to replace the snare and get a new ride as well all from the same series :)

Paiste's PST serie kom äntligen ut med denna modell, en billigare variant av 2002-serien.

Har testat en del modeller ur tidigare PST-serie 3 och 5 och dom har känts lite hårda och lite väl metalliska i ljudet så jag var lite skeptisk att testa dessa.Men utseendet, med den röda texten var lite för svår att motstå.

Cymbalen är en fröjd att spela på, ljudet är outstanding i jämförelse med priset, oerhört prisvärd.
Ljudbilden är "sweet" och i det högre frekvensområdet men tack vare den lätta vikten tar inte cymbalen över utan håller en bra ljudnivå.

Passar sig bäst på småställen där ljudnivån bör hållas på en tolerant nivå.

Väldigt hårt slående trummisar bör nog titta på Heavy serien alternativt gå upp ett snäpp på 8-serien.
Personligen slår jag relativt hårt och cymbalerna är fortfarande i närapå perfekt skick trots dryga 2 års hårt användande.

Rekommenderas starkt!!
