Cheaper than a cable and two plugs!
I wanted to buy a 3-pin / 5-pin adapter and thought about picking my soldering bolt, buying a cable and two plugs but then I found this adapter cable on thomann. I bought one for each direction and all in all I am happy with this product. It is cheaper than soldering it by yourself and it works. Only one little thing for locking the cable jamms sometimes. If you look inside the plugs you'll also see that they are not that high quality as others. For those who want to use this cable everyday and who like to buy a product which lasts some year on tour I would recommend you to buy a more expensive product. But for everyone else this cable is really okay.

Essential little adapters. I've purchased a load of these. These particular ones from Pro Snake are very well priced and the quality is good. Nothing bad to say.

They work
Bought a couple of these. chose them as they were cheap and did the job. Would be inclined to say they might not be as durable as things with neutrik connectors but Thomann's products especially the pro snake cables are really good.

Very useful to have a couple of these lying around in the lighting box for when you are using different fixtures where you need to switch between 5 pin and 3 pin DMX.
The quality of the connectors surprised me as they are to a very high standard and that means this is good value for money.

I bought this adapter in march and I have not been disappointed! The all metal XLR connectors give you a real sense of high build quality and will withstand being trodden on or dropped from a scaff tower!
