Icing on the Cake for HD25s!
I debated purchasing these because I wondered whether they'd worth the price. They absolutely are.
If you intend to spend long stretches of time working with your HD25s, or even just listening to music for pleasure, these make your experience much more comfortable.
HD25s can be, for some, a little tight on the ears. Over long periods of time this can cause some discomfort. These pads are very soft and do alleviate some of this pressure.
Similarly, listening for long periods of time with the regular leatherette style ear pads can lead to sweaty ears. This doesn't happen with these ear pads due to their soft fabric coating.
I was worried there might be some sound leakage compared to the original pads, thinking that the fabric cover might not allow for a tight seal. This isn't the case. I don't think sound quality is comprised whatsoever.
I think these pads a definitely a worthwhile purchase for HD25 owners. They really take your comfort level up a notch!

Upgrade to comfort. Changes bass response slightly.
I purchased these because the standard leather imitation material made my ears sweat and overheat after half an hour of listening. These do help aid that problem and are more comfortable for longer listening periods. However the seal they create with my ears isn't as tight as the standard ear pads thus altering the headphones sound slightly with a slightly less punchy bass. None the less they aren't too detrimental to the sound and are a major improvement in comfort so I would recommend if you find yourself becoming fatigued/over heated from the standard ear pads.

hd-25's are like new after putting these in.
no more damp leather, only sooooft velour!!!
kinda hard to put them in, but i found a good technique on youtube.

Supreme comfort for HD25s but mind how you change them
I mainly use my pair of HD25s at home. It's surprising how much more comfortable these are than the stock earpads - they make the headphones a LOT more fun to use. Highly recommended, unless you abuse your pair and take them to DJ gigs every night, in which case I assume the normal "faux leather" pads will be more durable on the long run.
The only thing is that these are a pain in the proverbial butt to change, unless you're either a clever person or read the Internet carefully. First turn the part that goes around the headphone around, like you would do with a pair of socks, and then turn it back around the headphone - easy and painless.

After watching a couple of videos on how to install these, it was easy to fit them on the HD-25s

Not sure how I feel...
I used to have the leather "stock" version of these pads on my HD25's. I bought these because they are supposedly more comfortable but I really had to get used to the feeling. At some point I even thought the sound of the headphones changed a bit. If you have a lot of dust in your room, that dust will stick to the ear pads, so put them in the drawer or something when not in use.
I had some minor hassle putting them on the headphones.

Nice for a change
Tried this ones out of curiosity and i feel like they are really ok, still the feeling over your ears will take long to get used to. Not necceserily a bad thing but you should consider that before buying the velour ones.

Very soft and pleasurable sensation when pads touching the ears. Prfect quality of Sennheiser products.

Very comfortable!
Totally worth the upgrade from the original pads. With the velour ones you loose a bit of amplitude around 100 to 250 Hz but you do not loose any of the isolation from the basic pads. The amount of comfort they offer is totally worth it!
