Great Little DMX controller

I bought this for a local club that had a few DMX lights all running of 1 dmx mode with up to 8 channels. They had an accident with their previous controller involving a glass of water so needed something to replace it and asked me to get them something that would do the job. This fitted their needs perfectly and does exactly what is needed. I opted for the LCD version as it was the same price as the None LCD version. To be honest you don't need the LCD but great to have it as looks better for the club.

I use this controller for 1 movie head and a t-bar full of par cans and it does the job well. The quality of the faders is very good and they are smooth. The LCD display is just ok but the numbers are pretty small; so watch out for that. Overall this is a simple and and a very effective piece of kit!

Trad/Petits automatiques mais pas en DMX IN :(

Pour ce qui est des caractéristiques techniques, le boitier métal est de bonne facture, on peut l'utiliser avec alimentation mais il y a aussi un emplacement pour pile 9V (pas bête !). Le petit afficheur est pratique pour voir ce qui sort sur chaque canal et le master.
Il fera donc le boulot pour contrôler des canaux de trad ou pour des petits automatiques.
En revanche, l'utilisation en DMX IN (ce pourquoi j'avais commandé le DDC 12) est difficilement envisageable car les valeurs de sorties font des micro-sauts (peut-être liés aux faders ?) qui peuvent mettre le bazar dans votre logiciel (Martin LJ)
Précision : j'ai constaté le souci il y a plusieurs mois, mais n'ayant pas pris le temps de m'en occuper, j'ai fini par renvoyer il y a seulement quelques semaines le premier exemplaire au SAV qui m'en a renvoyé un second.
Malheureusement, comme il présentait le même souci, j'ai demandé un remboursement à Thomann qui a accepté (je dis "chapeau bas" à toute l'équipe) et j'ai commandé une console 24 voies (la petite s½ur de la 48 que j'avais déjà, mais qui par sa taille n'est pas franchement pratique à sortir pour des petits événements, d'où l'achat du DDC 12).
C'est dommage car la petite taille du DDC 12 le rend vraiment idéal pour être facilement transporté partout... (je mets donc un 3/5 en utilisation ;) )
