I use it to connect a laser. The adapter is heavy and durable, makes a good connection, does not hang out. The price is good.
This is my first adapter of this type and I have nothing to compare with. But I dont see any cons.

prefectly servicable for the job
This DMX adapter is not nuetrik but in this case i can't see the point in spending more money - the connection has worn well and is standing up to constant dissembly and re-assembly of lighting kit.
perfectly adequate for the job and no reason to spend a penny more. great value

Not much to say about this, but good value for money and well built!
Does what it says on the tin! Just as good as the more expensive ones, they all do the same thing. So save some money and go for the Stairville one!

Good Value
Bought as a backup to a custom cable adapter I have and it works absolutely fine.
The only thing I can fault it on is that it is the length of it, sticks out of the socket on my lighting desk a bit too much, but cannot really grumble at the price.
Shorter length would have been ideal hence 4 stars.

Good stuff
Use these quite a lot. Well built. Good price. Takes abuse and still works. What more can you ask for?

Bought eight of these and six of them had the signal + and - wires soldered wrong. Last order was all good.

A little "iffy"
Got two of these (one plus a backup) to connect 3 pin dmx cable to 5 pin LC2412 controller. The fit is kind of loose and not a very solid connection. I ended up getting a "wired" adapter which is more solid. Would probably be fine in a permanent installation, but not great for live/mobile work.

Does the job well.
I purchased this to convert an Enttec ODE with 5pin output into 3pin for transmission to the lighting rig. Does the job. Good quality.
