Bright Light - Bright Light
Pardon my quote from gremlins.
This is a nice little bright light, it does spill a lot of light out abd can be positioned easily over any part of my 16 channel desk.
There is no on off switch so once connected its on. However, the lighty bit can disconnect from the neck easily so this is an option if you want to go back to darkness.
I have only used it a few times, but so far it stays exactly where i move it to, and the light is bright enough for me to read the area directly below it, I do need to move it up and down whilst looking up and down the channel mixer as the light is not quite enough to reveal all my desks dark little secrets. But then again, if it did, I would be very distracting to the band.

High quality essential
This has been a fantastic addition to my FOH setup. Even in the darkest venues, it ensures you can see the board clearly (and read set lists). Turn down the intensity and it emits a great red light which looks amazing pre show and during the turnaround.

Perfect for mixing consoles. I think, there is missing a switch on LED lamp.

Looks nice but doesn't hold its form
First look at it was very positive, looked nice and well built. But when I connected it in the back of my audio rack, it wasn't so charming anymore.
Pros:
It does give quite a bit of light
Cons:
The gooseneck does not hold its for AT ALL. I had to tape it to the rack's wall so it wouldn't fall down.
Also the light flickers quite noticeably.
But for what it's worth, it illuminates the back side of my audio rack and that's what matters.

Mary had a little lamp
I bought this lamp for my brandnew Presonus 16:4:2 -and it does exactly what it is made for: spending enough light to see all controls.
The goose neck is stable enough to keep in position.
A perfect house brand "Stairville" lamp!

Seems perfect
Have only used a couple of times, but does the job well - good light output, works as should, happy with product. Held back from giving 5 stars as I feel it would need a lot more use to be certain of dependibility etc...

Excellent value.
Great light output for a small footprint. Much better than Adam Hall etc for the money. Removable head useful for fitting into different pieces of equipment. Full rotation in al direction. Not quite as sturdy as Littlite.
