Good cable snake
I have several version of the SSnake cables and they're all the same. They do the job they are supposed to. For fixed installation into patchbays and outboards you cant go wrong. sounds good (not noticing any difference in sound quality compared to other cables). and for the price.. it's a bargain. Would I buy them again .. without a doubt. (for future upgrades/expansions I would definitivly would source these again). That said .. I have only used them for fixed installation and can not tell if they would hold up to heavy on the road use. If you have a small PA and only do Pubs and small gigs, I suppose they would do the trick.

decent price have had problems with the odd channel
have bought a few of these snakes now and have had issues with the odd channel. they are moulded so you cannot resolder them without cutting the ends off and buying a new plug. still reasonable value, but beware they are not very sturdy

Great and useful 8-channel multicore!
I use this multicore for "bringing" monitor signals from our headphone amplifier system to the middle of our rehearsal room. After that each band member connects his own XLR cable and his Behringer P2 stick. It is great because we can use only "one" cable and we don`t need to spread five or six different cables throughtout the room. It really helps with rehearsal room cable management!
We use it for around two months now and we didn`t notice any problems with sound, sound loss, crackling or anything like that yet.
The only thing I would change are the connectors (semi plastic) which I would replace with metal ones. But for this price it is really well made and useful product!
Would recommend it!

Excelent Service
After ordering the wrong multicable I wanted to return it. Unfortunately this is not possible because you can't exchange products that are sold per meter. I reached out and explained the situation. Because of the superb service by Thomann I got the cable that I wanted and also got to keep the other one. Never expected that! Unfortunatly I haven't been able to test it out on the road. But it's performing just fine here in the studio.

Cheap and Perfect
This is a great product, i am using it to connect my audio interface to my Summing BOX, from MIC preamps to AD converters. This multicore snake does what you would expect, connectors aren't the best i have ever used but i was using them in a studio install.
for the price they really are unbeatable, and found them very reliable and sturdy. Also the colour coding makes it easy to switch lines when you are behind and there isn't too much light and space to work. If mine breaks or be stolen i will definitely buy another one, or three because that quantity i'm using right now..

Wish you could open the connecters
For the price this is the best thing you can buy, but I wish you could open the connecters and fix them in case they get damaged. Also I wouldn't recommend for live use, but for fixed installations it's very good

Does what you would expect
This multicore snake does what you would expect, connectors aren't the best i have ever used but i was using them in a studio install. They are unlikely to need moved too much in the studio so the cost of them becomes very appealing. So far so good i have had no issues, been using them for about 2 years and i get nice clean single through every channel.
Also the colour coding makes it easy to switch lines when you are behind a main console and there isn't too much light. Overall you are getting what you pay for and I'm not sure whether they are road worthy but seem to be grand for my studio setting.

Affordable loom for rack applications ang groups of audio signals
Very affordable looms that I used to connect various bits of audio equipment in a small project studio rack. As the looms were to 'connect and forget' I didn't mind the moulded connections but I wouldn't trust such for heavy applications where the connections would be regularly connected/disconnected. Even if these moulded connections fail over time they could be cut off and replaced with replacement Jack, XLR connectors etc etc. All in all an affordable decent quality product.

10 years on
Last bought one of these in 2005 and that one has lasted this long. We use this for an Alesis HD24 into our loom. The colour codes make it easy to see which lead is what as the last one lasted 11 years before one of the cables started playing up, we can only assume this one will do a great job and for the price, getting that length of life out of it is pretty amazing these days. A great product - well worth it.
