In practice most devices adhere to the standard height units and if not, you just have to remove rubber feets or similar. Fitting the nuts and aligning them with holes of the rack ears can be _very_ fiddly. Be sure to use a rubber strip inlay. Or just use a rack strip with standard distance holes instead.

I bought a lot of these :-( since I wanted all my studio racks 48,3cm wide and not 50cm (looks better with less shown aluminum).
There is no way(!) to fix nuts in place (no rubber like 6162 model; which is great btw but wider).
So, we need to install whole studio with this and it is nighmare!
Some kind of diy improvisation should be done (some ribber should be instaled) to be able to handle nuts position.. Simply - not good product which was my first bad experience from Adam hall.. Very poor
