Great Mouthpiece - comfortable, versatile and responsive
Very happy with the received product.
I always played on a standard Wick 7 or its equivalent and based on this comparison i find the 3c offers an ever so slightly darker yet fuller sound. Perfect for those of an orchestral disposition or those who are comming onto trumpet from Flugel/Cornet - those players will be more at home on this mouthpiece.
Be prepared for a general flattening of sound (but that can be fixed by the player themselves).
My worry was that a darker sound would equate to difficulty in the upper register, but this is not the case.
The mouthpiece itself is of high quality and sound build. No problems regarding quality control.
The additional weight is an added bonus for fellow down-stream players.
Would recommend, as with most thomann products.
