Lovely blues pickup

Purchased this pick up for the neck position of my alder bodied strat.

It's completely quiet has a lovely clean sound but really fattens up when you increase the gain or dig in hard.

I would highly recommend matching this pickup with another 54 pro in the middle position and a virtual heavy blues in the bridge position which gives a great dynamic spread over the various combinations. 5 sounds and the truth? YOU BET!

A perfect match to my Partcaster's neck position

I selected this pickup after careful check of available options on the DiMarzio website. The key point was to find a nice, creamy sounding hum-cancelling single coil for my Partcaster which has two other DiMarzio pickups in the middle and bridge positions. It is not "that" creamy to imitate a humbucker but creamy enough to sound bluesy and to have some body. I love the sound and since this pickup is installed, I use it for almost all the solos. After the pikcup was selected, I could listen to its sound on the Thomann website so it was an easy decisiopn to place an order. Highly recommended!

Texas sound - aber brummfrei

Ich habe den Pickup in einer Telecaster (Sumpfeschekorpus, einteiliger Ahornhals) an der Halsposition. In der Stegposition sitzt ein DiMarzio Area Hot T. Bevorzugte Musik-/Spielstile sind Blues(rock), Country(rock), Southern Rock und 70s/80s Hardrock.
Der Pickup macht sowohl clean als auch mit Overdrives jeglicher Abstufungen eine exzellente Figur und passt von der Lautstärke und Klang auch hervorragend zum Area Hot T. Es ist einfach alles da - klare, aber nicht bissige Höhen, gesunder Output und genug Mitten, um Einzeltönen die nötige Fülle zu geben. Wer auf Texas-Sound steht, kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten.

Ich habe den Pickup auch in einer Strat mit HSS-Bestückung in der Mitte (zusammen mit einem Area 67 am Hals und einem Air Norton am Steg), und da tut er ebenfalls gute Dienste. Dass er nicht brummt, nehme ich gerne dazu!

Klare Kaufempfehlung.
