Rock on!
Nothing short of excellent! Have put it in bridge of US G&L Legacy and instead of usual thin bridge strat sound it gives rocking (AC/DC wise) tight crunch for power chords and fast bends. All without noise and retaining single coil clarity. Have used small JB before, but this is better sounding for me. Also retained G&L original PTB wiring, both treble and bass controls work just fine.
With Dimarzio Heavy Blues 2 in neck they make perfect combo for a classic rock strat.
Installation wise, I would prefer more substantial wires and and cloth for more professional look, but hey, its under pickguard :)

Good hum free strat tones
I replaced the bridge pickup on my Strat with this. Careful listening reveals it to be slightly darker sounding than a true single coil, but this is to be expected. In a band situation, it souns just like a regular Strat pickup. IN a studio environment, the absence of hum made it possible for me to record in my home studio using a Strat, as opposed to using humbuckers. I also like that there is no logo on the pickup, so it preserves the look of the guitar. Highly recommended, and I'm considering getting another one for my new Strat.

Nice, but...
It resolved my hum problem, but the cover is not the same color as the rest, and it is taller than the stock one.
