Uso-as numa guitarra com afinação em A standard, até então usava as 010 (regular slinky), e foi notória a diferença na tensão, corpo, sustain, harmónicos... muito mais adequadas à afinação que uso, pelo menos para o meu gosto e sensibilidade.

Tenho vindo a ter um pequeno problema com as cordas mais finas (010 e 011), uso vários sistemas headless e em todos, as cordas mais finas, começam por "desenrolar" a fixação à bola na extremidade, acabando por perder a tensão e consequentemente invalidando a sua afinação e utilização.

Losing my religion

I've been a lifelong D'Addario user, but these strings have converted me. I'm now glad to be in the Ernie Ball camp, these strings just feel amazing and sound so much better. These power slinkies are just perfect for my recently acquired 7 string guitar.

Great sound / longevity AND works with Schaller M6 locking tuners!

I have spent a considerable amount of time looking for the beefiest set of baritone strings that will be accommodated by my Schaller M6 Locking Tuners on my Ibanez baritone. As the majority of manufacturers tend to avoid the .058 gauge, the Ernie Ball 7-String Power Slinky does the job nicely because the .058 is the thickest gauge of string accepted by the Schaller M6s - which have an eyelet size of 1.5mm (.059")

The strings themselves are great to play and have a really nice twang to them that I was missing from the previous set of cobalts that I had placed on my guitar.

Loss of one star because it's not packed with an alternative wound G, which I feel could be offered at this price point and to match competitors like Dean Markley.

They are Strings

If you like Ernie Ball strings, you are already here buying them. Eveeybody likes different strings, I like these, have used various gauges of them for years on all sorts of instruments and never had any problems. Adding to this - though I use these on a 7 string, I have put these on 6's too in various setups, so if you're looking to mix and match gauges for particular tunings it might be worth grabbing a set of these (or 8's) for some variety.
