Three years and still going strong

I've been using two of these for my small home setup just to brighten up my drum covers and I love how small and versatile these can be. Once you get used to the details of programming through DMX (if you prefer programmed light shows), these can quickly become your best friends and it's just delightful seeing them "dance".

Because they're small, they fit very nicely in my compact, truss-hung (a strong curtain rod, really!) setup and I once set them up, I didn't need to bother with anything else. Their small stature gave me ample room to work in other lights.

The only downside is that one of the units actually produces some noise which is more noticeable when it pans and tilts. The other one is extremely quiet in that regard. So it could be a manufacturing issue. It never hindered me from doing anything and external noise isn't a factor for what I do, so I never bothered with it.

And by the way, this was exactly 88,62€ when I bought in 2020! I'm glad I did, because boy, the price practically doubled since then.

I didn't have much to spend on moving heads. I bought two of these and they did a pretty good job. The motors are quite noisy - my stage set up was very small and up close - they might not be so bad higher up and with louder music to cover the noise. It was my first DMX setup and it took me a while to work out what to do with them. There's quite a steep learning curve. The menu was a mystery to me for ages. I couldn't get the sound to light feature to work when programmed via DMX. Freestanding that worked fine so it's probably just me being slow to understand. I love the effect of moving heads though, they really make a huge difference to a light show.

A good product with very few disadvantages.

I am using it at home without a dmx on sound mode. The LEDs have beautiful colors and the device rotates to the rhythm and bass of the music. The only downside of this moving beam is that the sound mode does not activate the strobe or UV lights. This way you have situations in which, although the music requires a little strobe, the moving beam rotates and changes the RGB colors without starting the strobe.
