It's a mystery why Fender doesn't have more guitars with this from stock, besides the Clapton Sig.

I use the Fishman Rechargeable Battery Pack with it and works great. Much more practical than 9v battery's.

Always wanted a Clapton Strat but don't like maple fretboards.

I retrofitted this into a 61 vintage reissue with hot noiseless fender pickups, tbx control and a 10 position selector switch.
Every sonic base covered.

The secret to using the mid control is dont just max it out... thecsweet spots are between 1 and 5

Plus.... turning the volume down retains the full tonal spectrum.

If you have the skills, fit it
