Used for Sim Racing

I've bought a pair of these to run for tactile feedback on my sim racing rig. They are supplemental to a couple of Earthquake MQB-1's, which whilst superior in my opinion, are limited in range (15 to approx 70Hz). The Mini LFE's are used to take the higher frequencies (50-180Hz in this case), and handle these well, but they will bottom out with an unpleasant rattling noise when pushed hard and low. Overall they add a nice balance to the feedback, allowing me to feel road impacts, RPM, and engine vibrations through the full range.

I have not used them for music, so cannot offer feedback on that aspect.

Der Buttkicker Mini LFE ist handlich und läßt sich gut am Schlagzeugsitz befestigen.

In Kombination mit dem älteren, kleinen Fischer In-Ear Würfel-Amp (meine vorherige Kombination) sollte man keine Erdbeben unterm Sessel erwarten!

Der Betrieb funktioniert zwar einigermaßen akzeptabel, - aber: Der Buttkicker Mini braucht Leistung und verlangt dem tapferen, kleinen Amp wirklich das Allerletzte ab. Hier funzt die "Bass-Pump II" (Art.-Nr. 153368) besser und materialschonender.

Mit einer leistungsstarken Endstufe à la "Crown XLS 1000" angetrieben (meine derzeitige Kombination) kommt jedoch mächtig Freude auf: Hier macht der Buttkicker Mini LFE ordentlich Wallung unterm Thron!

Un petit buttkicker efficace

Ce Buttkicker simple fonctionne à merveille. Il faut quand même prévoir pour celui-ci une amplification suffisamment puissante pour un bon rendement. Je l'utilise fixer au pied de mon siège de batterie et les vibrations sont précises. Par contre, si vous lui en demander un peu trop, il chauffe puis s'arrête et refonctionne une fois refroidis.

Besser als gedacht!

Obwohl es die kleine, günstige Version ist funktioniert das Gerät sehr gut!
Wichtig ist es mit der Polung zu experimentieren bis es passt und ebenso wichtig ist eine steile Trennung des Signals bzw. neben der möglichst steilen Trennung noch alle Frequenzbereiche über der Trennfrequenz so weit als möglich raus zu ziehen.
Als Amp verwende ich einen Kanal einer alten Crown Mactrotec 1201; das passt leistungsmäßig ganz gut.
So macht E-Drum spielen wesentlich mehr Spaß und das mit ganz erträglichen Lautstärken.

Einziges kleines Minus ist das recht starre Anschlusskabel und die fehlende Polaritätsbeschriftung.

Ich würde diese Gerät jederzeit wieder kaufen.
