These multi-voice pickups allow you to select between two voices
Voice 1: Vintage single coil - a warm, clear and present tone / 4 kHz
Voice 2: Hot Texas single-coil - a powerful overwound tone / 3 kHz
Free of inductance issues, meaning no noise, no hum - only a clear and pure sound
Operation via 9 volt battery possible
Colour: white
Optional Lithium-Ion battery pack available with approx. 200 hours operating time (358430, not included),

Get them! Period!

Fishman has done something extraordinary here. A pickup that has all the Strat-ness and none of the hum and noise! It really is true. Comparing it to vintage Strat PUs, they sound just as pristine and sparkly, with all the traditional "quack" you'd ever want from a Strat. You won't believe this is actually an active pickup.

To be perfectly honest, when you ramp up the gain on the amp, there will be SOME noise, but orders of magnitude less than from your usual passive single coils (or even humbuckers). Hell, these are quieter than most active PUs, too. You won't need to use a noise gate, even, since the very small noise level that IS there, I feel actually contributes to the tone rather than being an obstacle. Imagine that - no noise gate necessary, your sound with all of its sustain still there!

And sustain these things have... unreal. You just have to play it to believe it.

Absolutely no negatives here. These are the best pickups ever. I think I am going to be using only Fluence pickups from now on, on all my various guitars. They are THAT great.

Best Pickups Ever

I upgrade my Fender 60's Strat (Japan) 2 months ago with Fishman Fluence PU Set. Installing is very hard for left handed players. But its sound is awesome.
I compare with my Chapman ML1 V2's humbucker. As a result those single coils have less noise. 2 Voice option is very usefull.
This set is not active but active noise cancelling circuit needs 9 volt battery.

Clear bright and noiseless

Single pickups brought with them many problems besides their great sound. Manufacturers did not find a solution for this persistently. Fishman said stop to it. Gorgeous clear bright and noiseless. Thanks fishman, I'm following you

Bought these pickups as a hugh fan of greg koch. Sound is incredible. Fitted these into a custom body fender! Highly recommended!
