Muito versátil
Mário Dias 04.01.2024
Já usei para XY e ORTF. As marcações dos angulos e distancias são muito uteis e as peças são robustas. No entanto requer bastante cuidado e precisão para fixar bem os cachimbos dos microfones.

Really sturdy, rather heavy
StrikingObligation 16.11.2020
This stereo bar is great for holding two microphones on one stand. It has handy markers to be able to set your stereo array in perfect alignment and has handy guides on there to be able to set up X/Y or OTFR quickly.

The unit is very sturdy, if anything a little too sturdy. The weight of the item means a regular boom stand doesn't quite hold the weight. I use it for drum overheads and I ended up using a drum clamp to hold the boom arm up as the regular stands kept sagging down with how heavy the bar is.

If you want a sturdy stereo bar and don't have flimsy stands in your studio then this is the one!

Solid stereo bar
Handreas 30.01.2020
First of all. This bar is a lot bigger than it looks in the photos, it also not the lightest bar out there. So keep that in mind of you need to use it in tight places, like under a partially closed piano lid, or on the end of a long mic-stand boom arm. This isn't a huge problem in the studio, but it can prove difficult to use it live when you only have standard light weight tripod-stands and need to extend the boom arm.

With that being said, this is a excellent product! It's got markings for easy and exact setup, and every mount can twist and turn every which way making it a joy to get the microphone placement just as you want it.

Just keep the weight and size in mind.

Well build, but does not work as advertised.
Ender699 17.12.2022
Unless I am missing something here, there does not seem to be a way to stagger typical pencil microphones (Rode M5) in height when doing near-incident mic'ing (X/Y, ORTF) without extra flanges not included in this product. The mic's will be pointing at diferent horizontal angles, not what you want. The Rode alternative seems to be able to do this by putting a simple plastic flange once below and once above the bar ...
Also, the adjustment angle of the bar to a microphone boom is limited to 180 degrees, making it impossible to point the microphones horizontally when the boom is pointing downwards.
It is well built though ...
Not sure to return this or adapt it ....
