Very nice speaker for a daRibeira 1x12" cabinet in ash wood.
Produces a nice clean tone and warm overdriven tones with lots of bass. A bit fizzy for extreme distortion settings.

Excellent guitar cabinet replacement speaker

I bought this speaker to replace a defunct Jensen Mod speaker that was one of a pair in separate cabinets that I built myself, powered by a Crate 150W Power Block amplifier to enable the use of stereo effects processing.
It has proven itself a perfect replacement matching the neutral acoustic characteristics of the original completely seamlessly. I was concerned at the time of purchase that there would be a discernible difference in sound reproduction that would necessitate replacement of the speaker in the 2nd cabinet to get a balanced sound but it worked absolutely fine and you can hear no differences at all during gigs, band practices or on the rare occasions I use this setup at home/for recording. It has had regular use for over 6 months now and no issues/problems have emerged as yet.

Il a remplacé le Celestion d'origine d'un valvestate 8040. Pour le moment, étant neuf et donc pas "fait", il est très très convainquant en son clair, un peu moins sur les overdrives, mais de mieux en mieux. Actuellement, je le vois plutôt comme un hp qui sonne sur du jazz, du blues, sur de la musique sans grosses distorsions. Mais à voir avec le temps. A noter qu'il a un peu "fenderisé" le marshall et qu'avec une strat, ça sonne plus "fender" que le célestion".
