It could do with some extra holes to adjsut to a suitable size for mandolin.
Far too much excess hanging out from the buckle when at its smallest setting.

For F-style mandolin it is easy to fit the leather strap through the scroll to form a loop, although this requires taking off the shoulder pad and threading back through when done (can be difficult). But still too long this way too.
