Mir hat der Sound des Paiste 2002 18" Chinas immer sehr gut gefallen. Auf gut Glück habe ich mir das Novo-Exemplar bestellt. Im Vergleich zu der klassischen Ausführung schneidet es nach meinem Empfinden aber nicht ganz so gut ab. Das klassische China klingt wesentlich wärmer und voller, hat trotzdem einen knackigen Anschlag und nicht ganz so viel Sustain wie das Novo China. Wer einen helleren Klang bevorzugt, wird sich über das Novo China vielleicht freuen. Mir selbst gefällt der Klang des "Nicht-Novo-Exempars" mehr, zumal es für mich auch mehr den Sound hat, der für mich den klassischen Sound eines Chinabeckens ausmacht.

Für mich eines der besten Chinas der Welt! Ich spiele es seit Jahren im Metal-Genre und möchte es in meinem Set-up nicht mehr missen müssen.
