Great alternative to the 14A4x

Struggled with the 14A4x on the P5-4 and couldn't nail the top Fs on the piccolo. The 11Ax is brighter but zings nicely in the upper register and helps me with endurance. Really quite comfortable as well.

my first schilke mouthpiece having played on a larger cup for many years i was surprised how quick i adapted to it very comfortable nice sounding working on range may i just say what a wonderful service you provide regards Mel

Cette embouchure est très agréable a jouer sur les piccolos schilke pour se familiariser avec le son et les sensations. Le son est stable et riche, l'aigu facile. L'entrée est très petite donc on peut vouloir passer à d'autres modèles aux entrées plus larges pour gagner en résistance et en largeur de son.

Das Munstück passend zur P5-4

Nach langem Suchen habe ich mit dem Schilke 11AX endlich ein Mundstück für meine Schilke Piccolotrompete P5-4 gefunden, welches nicht zu breit im Kesseldurchmesser, nicht zu flach (für einen vollen Ton) und wirklich gut anspricht. Ich spiele viel im Theater und in Musicals hier in Berlin und benötige daher einen SOund auf der Piccolo, welcher der einer großen Trompete sehr nahe kommt. Die große Trompete, eine Schilke S 32 mit Sterlingbecher, spiele ich mit dem Schilke Mundstüch 6A4a, also schon recht klein und kuschelig....Das 11 AX hat natürlich einen größeren Kesseldurchmesser, aber es fühlt sich einfach gut an!
