John Suhr Makes one of the best pickups
John Suhr Makes one of the best pickups, because he uses authentic USA made magnets, so these are one of the most authentic pickups there is to be, I had Suhr ML pickups before, they great but in different way, more output, less sparkle more mids and more even sound, V60LP is has enough treble, more mid scooped, and old strat tone. Scott Henderson uses both, ML live, and V60LP in studio.

simply the best strat pickups
excellently dynamic, punchy, not too piercy on the treble side but with enough sparkle, to me they are the perfect strat single coil pickup, both clean and overdriven. They work great with pedals as well: with a clean boost they push my JMP in heaven; I jest need to roll down the guitar volume to go back to clean (I have a treble bleed). Tried several boutique pickups but I was always missing something, not with the V60lp! I've installed 3 neck pickups and adjusted the height and even without a non RWRP middle p-up, they are very silent, just keep the 10 feet rule and use good cables and power supply for your pedals

still Suhr but i prefer the Mike Landau model
I have a guitar with the Mike Landau set which i absolutely adore, so i decided to invest in this similar product.
While it is still quite good (probably would be better if i had upgraded the entire electronics, not just the PU), i believe you would be better served with the clarity and overall quality of the Suhr ML Classic instead. Good luck :)
