POOR QUALITY CONTROL AND HIGH FAILURE RATE

Avoid these Tubes as I found the quality control to be poor, they were packed in boxes which were too large allowing them to move in transit and the failure rate was 50%!!! I've learnt a very expensive lesson and will not buy another TAD tube again.

I've a Fender Delux Hot Rod ... and while I love it I will say that Fender tubes are utter rubbish ... overpriced and last as long as those cheap batteries you see in adverts shoved into bouncing rabbits!
These bad boys are superb, esp if you bias your own amp, they 'crack' just when you want them to, order a good supply.

I don't know if this is because I've got used to my old valves, but my amp got seriously better, and mind you, it's a 5150 mk1. Got a couple of my friends to get these as well. Nobody complained yet, so I guess they work well and none has given out. Good for studio, good for touring.

Great upgrade tubes for PRS Sonzera 20

Replaced the stock Ruby tubes in my Sonzera 20. Re-bias was really easy with the external bias points. Sound is very musical, rattling is gone, very happy with the upgrade.
