Some reviewers complain they broke too easily on them, but IMO that's because they SHALL NOT be tightened as much as other "ordinary" wires - because of the shape of the individual wires, they are designed to work under less tension.

These Tama snare wires are excellent quality for the price and really are super sensitive. I will be buying these instead of more expensive Puresound wires in the future.
The only negative is that one wire has broken off after a few months of playing, so the build quality loses 1 star.
