But it is not intended for carrying your instrument in very cold weather conditions or in public places where there is a risk of damage. For that you will need a hardcover case. It has a big notebook case at front but not big enough for A4 size notebook. A5 would do the job though. I am overall happy with this bag but I am also buying a hardcase for snow days and air travel.
