Sturdy and Well Built

I was looking for a case that would protect my new allen and heath mixer from damage during both transportation and use. This case as it all from the handles to the steel reinforcement. Not too heavy and easy to transport.

Just bought this case to accompany my recent purchase of the equally wonderful Allen and Heath QU 16 mixing desk. Well, what can I say! Brilliant case, which is of course what I have come to expect from Thon products. The case is very well made and solid - it feels like you could jump on top of it and it would not flinch! The plywood is very strong and well finished, and the metal and latches are strong and true. I am pretty sure that this case will keep my desk secure for many, many years and will probably outlive me! Highly recommended - thank you Thomann!

Sturdy case!

A good fit for my QU-16! There is plenty of room for cables and other items both under and behind the mixer, as long as they are padded. This is well built and so far has kept my mixer safe in transport.

Gutes Case mit geringen Abstrichen

Die Thon Cases sind insgesamt von hoher Qualität. Der Schutz des Equipments ist so gewährleistet. Das Gewicht ist angemessen, auch wenn man es sich natürlich leichter wünschen würde.

Das A&H Qu-16 passt sehr genau in dieses Mixer Case, es wird einfach hineingestellt (keine Rackohren nötig).
Hinter dem Case ist genug Platz für WLAN-Router, Kabel etc. - dies macht das Case allerdings auch etwas unhandlicher (und schwerer). Unter dem Mixer würde aufgrund von dessen "hohler" Profilform eigentlich auch alles hineinpassen, was man üblicherweise so zum Mixer mitnehmen muss.

Die Griffe bieten nicht unbedingt höchsten Tragekomfort (dünn, eher hart). Dies ist allerdings Standard bei allen mir bekannten Cases (leider...). Sie sind aber stabil und bei dem Gewicht noch gut zu (er-)tragen.

Der Kunststoff im Inneren ist so eingeklebt, dass der Deckel beim Schließen nicht ganz von alleine in die fuge fällt, da muss ich ein wenig ruckeln - ist aber minimal und schließt dann sehr dicht und gut ab. Das kann in meinem Fall auch einfach Varianz aufgrund der Handfertigung sein - ich kann jedenfalls gut damit leben.
