The Jack of all trades, Good for everything!
I've always used this drumsticks through my career.
Started playing rock and now for 15 years jazz!
Pros:
- Well balenced and pitch matched.
- Durable.
- Good cross stick sound on the snare.
- Good ping sound on the ride cymbal
Cons:
- I've seen a decrease of quality in this last 2 years. Sometimes a little piece of wood comes out of the tip of the stick, when the stick is new. And this observation was made from 15 years of professionaly playing jazz and utilizing this drumsticks (i buy a bunch of them every 4 months).
So maybe it's quality control problem or just a storage problem (humidity) but this was the only Con i found for the Vic Firth 5A drumsticks.

Não há muito a dizer. Estou a iniciar a aprendizagem de bateria e o upgrade para umas baquetas desta qualidade ajudaram imenso. Recomendo!

Huge versatality
I asked for a well-balanced sticks and thomann choose them well. The sticks are great have a nice balance and I can use them for playing the drums or just my snare drum pieces. It has a nice sound and fit perfectly in our hands.
The price is very accesible so we can practice a lot with it not fearing "destroy" them mainly if we have to play on the rim and do rimshots.
Nevertheless the tip of the stick is different from each pair what is kind of upset.
A nice pair of sticks from VIC FIRTH.
