Morley ABC PRO Selector

After a mammoth session to find the most ideal ABY/ABC switcher for my purposes, it became clear that only the MORLEY boxes are worth considering. ALL other brands suffer from either ground loop hum, fizzle and crackle when touching metal parts, alter or suck the tone out or switch with an annoying 'pop'

I have been through the entire Morley range offered by Thomann and, while they all performed well (except the Morley ABY), I wanted to have THREE amps connected. So I finally decided to bite the bullet and shell out the high price for this one. Clearly their Top-of-the-Range model.

But what a disappointment ! Very un-Morley like noisy! Sensitive to touching the metal parts and a bit of a 'pop' when switching. All the ground lift and phase reverse features count for nothing if the basic operation is flawed.

If you are interested, having conducted the comparison test of virtually all ABY/ABC that Thomann offers, only two passed my essential requirements of no ground loop issues, no snap, crackle & pop and no alteration of the input tone. Those two are the Morley ABY Mix and the Morley ABC.

I settled on the Morley ABC.
