Brilliant solution at a great price.
I've been waiting for these for a while now. Basically, it turns your 70HP Behringer synth (Cat, Model D, Wasp) into a 3U rack synth. I don't know why Thomann refer these as 'Eurorack ears'.
The design is simple - remove two screws from each end cheek on the sides of your synth, add the rack ears and replace the screws. Simple. Well, until you try to mount the thing in your rack. The screw holes are oval, although on my synth there wasn't enough lateral room on the inside of the screwhole. Whether that't the rack ears or my Model D is unknown. It's not the rack though, as it happily contains lots of other 19" rack equipment without issue. I managed to get it in, but a slight adjustment of the size or location of the screwholes in the rack ears would have been nice.
There's also a fundamental design flaw with this, in that the power switch is on the back. So once it's mounted, it's impossible to get to. I leave mine on as it's powered by my power distrubition unit, but adding a front mounted switch would have been useful.
The material is hard and heavy, probably steel - they feel sturdy enough. Anyway, it serves it's purpose - but Behringer missed a trick not offering a front mounted power switch. There's loads of space for it too.

Perfect accessory to rack your Model D
There were many options to arranging my Model D in the studio but when space for new gear forced me to re arrange my setup, racking the Model D to my sidecar 19” rack with my hardware samplers and synths made perfect sense and these rack ears were the solution.

They do their job
Not much can be said about rack ears. I used them in a 19" rack. No problem with screwing it with rack and with Model D. Size is matched perfectly, and it looks good in a rack. I'm happy with this purchase.

Fits well
Fits well. Installation is very easy. Two screws are removed from the Model D case and then used to attach the rack ears. Its nice because you will not loose the original screws, as they are used to hold the ears.

Good quality rack ears !
I bought these to fit my Model D to a quiklok rs10 rack, they come packaged neatly with simple user instructions, there were no blemishes or marks out of the box very high quality finish and very easy to fit, now my home studio looks more professional 🤩 and has freed space on my desktop. Can easily recommend them and great price !

Just what I needed! Great Price to boot!
Fits my 19" rack perfectly. I love Behringer for excellent affordability. Get these when they are in stock for all your units just in case you ever want to free up some eurorack space and mount this on your wall somewhere later.
