Better than expected

Bought 3 of these to run from pedal board to amp, from FX send to board and then back FX return. A lot of plugging and unplugging when playing concerts a lot of stepping on them during concerts. A lot of times I have mistreated them by just throwing them in pedal board case without neatly rolling them neatly. So I often have not treated them with care and I did not expect the best quality in the first place. I bought them because of the nice price and my low budget at the time.

They still work great, The angled connectors do feel cheap, but I have never had any technical issues with them. the cable thickness and feel is not the best, but better than the price would suggest. I have been using them for two years or so now, and it is at least two times longer than I expected. Have recorded through them in studio, compared to much more expensive cables of the same length - no difference in sound.

This cable will not feel so nice in your hands, they will not feel so sturdy. But it works and can withstand some torture. For the low price I can not give anything lower than 5 stars.

Good cable, OK plugs

This is a very good cable for the price. The tele-plugs on the other hand let it down. Rean is a brand of Chinese made parts owned by Neutrik. The straight jack plugs are excellent, good strain relief and gold plated shaft. The angled plug on the other hand feels flimsy and it does rattle when being handled. In usage this isn't a huge problem but still feels less than ideal.

Depending on what the intended usage is it might be preferable with a slightly more expensive cable from Cordial, one with actual Neutrik connectors.

Budget but not *that* budget

One or two of my leads have been with me for years - 100 gigs a year for at least ten years, and have never failed. These might not be 'those' leads, but they coil well and the fit is not bad - I run open mics and it might sound weird but not all endpin-jack contacts are the same. I've had one guitar not respond to these where they did to one of 'veteran' leads - the jacks are obviously a slightly thinner diameter, or they lock in further out so the tip couldn't quite make contact. The jack cover has come a bit loose once or twice but never badly enough to jeopardise the connections and stayed in place. I'd buy them again.
