These are the strings I use to get extra sound quality and for high mileage. The only down-side is that, when new, they tend to slip from under my fingers, making pitch control harder while bending.

Good strings. I haven't used coated strings in the past and wanted to try them out.

No blackening or corrosion after using them most days for practise for the last 3 weeks.

They have a slightly different feel to uncoated strings, you can feel the coating but it isn't distracting once you play a little and get used to it. Almost like a softer feel but the strings still had a good sound and didn't seem noticeable darker.

Overall the extra cost I paid over my usual standard Ernie Balls has been worth it in terms of longevity so I'm happy with the strings. I would probably buy them again and have no complaints about the quality.
