Perfect to keep your stands up to par
After a while of using cymbal stands the plastic sleeves wear out and this is a very important issue if you want to keep your cymbals happy because the edges of the cymbal can get damaged by the metal of the stand if you don't pay attention to the shape of the sleeves. I noticed that it was time to get them replaced as the old ones had broken - thankfully these are available at Thomann and I ordered them immediately. I advise you measure your sleeves first to order the right ones as there are different types available (long/short/etc.) but surely keep an eye on your cymbal stands often and don't hesitate to order this product if you need to swap out the old sleeves.

To keep you cymbals safe
Bought it for my Millenium (CS-718) stands. Those stands are awesome but I didn't like the plastic long sleeve wing nut solution therefore I ordered separate sleeves with Gibraltar butterfly nuts to upgrade my stands. Always check your sleeves' quality because if they are broken the stand's metal can harm you cymbals and you will get "keyhole" on them. Gibraltar is always a good choice even if it's only about a piece of plastic.

Gibraltar SC-19B Short Sleeve 8mm
I needed a replacement for my old sleeves (that were the same as these, they came with an Gibraltar SC-GCA Grabber Cymbal Arm) The bottom plate are broken after some hours playing. But I don´t know if it was because of the transport, because I didn´t look if everything was O.K. after I´ve got the cymbal arm (I hope it was because of this or because of a mistake of my playing style). The ew i bought in this package have also very good stability.

Great sleeves!
I was using some old sleeves with my cymbals and there was some rattling because they were brushing up against the scuffed up part of the sleeve. I decided to order these and they are great. They do the job, and I find no more rattle. They don't wobble on the stand, they stay in place.
They serve their purpose and they seem like they will last an eternity. If you are looking to tighten your cymbals, I would suggest buying these short sleeves and using Gibraltar's long felts, maybe on a ride cymbal or something that you don't crash, as that can be damaging.
In conclusion, I see no purpose to buy any other sleeve or any other protective covering! Great purchase.
